Working from home

Has anyone tried, or know someone personally, that has done this as an income from home? http://www.paidsurveysonline.com/

Or the other one, where they send you packages with stuff to complete, like beads, toy assembly, envelope stuffing etc, and then once posted back to them you get a nice cheque in the mail? (Like Shopoholic, the book, lol)

Canadian Council of Better Business Bureaus Consumer Information: Work at Home Schemes

Over the past two years the Canadian Council Office has worked towards increased public awareness about work at home schemes. In many instances address locations have been identified as postal box drops and we have tried to provide the appropriate public cautions through the Better Business Bureau system across North America. Often, consumers receive an e-Mail with the following words (or words very similar) - "Hi, Would you like to earn an extra $700 a week...$2,800 a month just by mailing our business circulars from your home?". Other e-Mails claim you can make money by sending out coupons, or by stuffing envelopes - we have found these opportunities not to be profitable. Please read below for more information and on how to take appropriate action.

Please be aware that the BBB system across North America has found these types of opportunities not to be profitable. The CCBBB suggests you first check with your local BBB for a reliability report. You may also wish to contact PhoneBusters (fraud squad of the Ontario Provincial Police) toll free at 1-888-495-8501 to report the work at home opportunity.

All consumers within North America may report (by phone) all work at home schemes to PhoneBusters - the fraud squad of the Ontario Provincial Police - toll free at 1-888-495-8501 . Their website is www.phonebusters.com .

I do similar with credit card - I have one with a really low limit that I use for online and other "riskier" purchases - and I watch it carefully !

but I would suggest setting up a yahoo or hotmail account and that way if you do get spammed, you an simply close the account, and not clutter up your real e-mail account !

I had a look and it looks interesting I am usually "If it sounds to good to be true it usually is" kind of person but at only $34.00 it isn't much of a risk. The one thing that always worries me is the spam but they ay they don't sell your info which is more than the store cards can say.
