We just had a Bobcat come and lift our fridge up onto the back deck so we could get it into the house. We had to take the door off to fit it through and put it on a pallet then lift it up and of course it was tippy it was straped on but it sure looked like it was going to fall. It is in the house now and sitting still for a few hours before we plug it in. Glad that is over.

Yike - I did a double take when I first read your post - I saw Bobcat & was thinking the kitty cat. Phew.
Glad everything is coming together finally for you and dh.
It is exciting but very tiring and hard on the nerves.I will enjoy this place love it already.
Jeep ,your household sounds so exciting ...lots happening...I remember when we moved into our new house 21 yrs ago ....it was so much fun pulling everything together.Enjoy ! :)
Yes it is a big fridge but the main reason for bringing it in that way was the hardwood stairs. I didn't want a dolley yanked over them. The washer and dryer came today and I just happen to have 3 nice plumbers here at the time so they stayed and hooked them up and just had to have a couple of beers for them when they were done. The last thing to go on now is the door as I brought my special door from the last house. It got a second coat of paint today so it will be ready to go up on Thursday and that should be it. Of course there is the issue of the new TV what to buy and where to buy it has to be settled. I hung the blinds yesterday and 1 had to go back it didn't fit and 2 valances were to big the store is just up the street from me and the girl that owns it I have known for years so she took them back today and they will be here within the week. I bought the light filtering rolldown blinds as I didn't want to block out our view it is so beautiful.
Wow that must be one big fridge or a high climb. I think it was one guy and his straps carrying my fridge into the house.
Is that the last piece of the kitchen puzzle to go in? Can you get settled now?
