OK

I do love the fall..the scenery the crisp air as long as it does not get too cold too quick :D
I guess I found this summer went by really really too fast for me. Oh well what should I expect when you go away for almost 4 weeks
I guess I am lucky as my kids do not play me out . :biglol:
They are usually pretty good and very content kids.
Oh well off to buy some fall MUMS :D
you're right homebody...as much as i love summer...i love winter just as much...and sometimes even more...usually when i got my skates on....LOL
you're walking thru crisp autumn leaves SCOOT SCOOT the trees are spectacular, the air is fresh and cool
Ok, now it's winter, the fresh cool snow slides across the ground, your nose is a little bit pink, you come in the house, wonderful cooking smells...
Hmmmmm no takers....hey, I love these seasons -- summer is great, but let's enjoy the others :)
Today I was really relating to you mothers that want the kids to go back to school.. I'd only been looking after two of the grandchildren for about four hours at that point. I don't even remember if I got to sit down to have my coffee - if I had my coffee. They never quit talking and going and talking .... little energizer bunnies.
I feel your pain, bigmama  I feel like my summer was a total write-off. Most of my weekends were disrupted with wedding stuff, then after the wedding was over, the following weekend I had to go to a visitation at a funeral parlour, and then the next three weekends in a row, it rained    And now the lake is too cold for swimming, so that to me is the official end of my summer :(
Oh well.... the one good thing about summer being over is that I'm less than a month away from my tooth implant finally being done. I'm getting tired of looking like a hockey player who's been hit in the mouth with a puck!!
I think everyone of us had a "velcro kid" and you will be amazed how after a couple of days "velcro" joins in with the rest. Those kids are just a little more anxious about certain things. I watched a bunch waiting for the Jr. K bus yesterday. Some hopped on waving to Mom, others wanted Mom to show them where to sit on the bus and needed a last hug. They just needed that little bit of extra reassurance. All too cute to watch. It is harder on Mom's than the kids LOL.
yea...give it a few days...then you'll be saying..."oh crap...i have kids!!!":D
LOL! Even though I am enjoying MY time, the emotional ups and downs aren't pleasant. I worry about how they are doing in school, is he making friends, is he hungry, is the teacher being nice to him...
My youngest starts on the 18th, JK. That is going to be rough. He hasn't been away from me, ever. Like velcro, lol.
Are you kidding... Ok yes getting up early does SUCK... but the quiet days to my self are worth it. Do something that is just for you.... you will feel better.
well see Cat...she doesn't have OUR children....if she did that'd be a whole other story...LOL
Pull yourself together woman! :D
It's only the second day of back to school! You can't be missing them already. The sun is shining, the grass is mowed, the flowers are still here, the leaves haven't dropped yet...um...it's almost weekend... :D
yea summer did go by quick...but not enough hot and humid weather for my liking...
oh and just to add salt to your wounds...my tan NEVER fades:D
