Xmas Party Decorating

Due to lack of available facilities we are hosting a Christmas Party in a very informal room with large pictures of heavy equipment on the wall that can not be removed. Does anyone have any inexpensive suggestions for covering or hiding them in a way that would tie in with more elegant Xmas Decor? The only thing I have come up with is wrapping to make them look like gifts.

I don't know how many there are but you could do them up with the 12 days of Christmas pictures or jsut nice winter scenes.

that my first thought, too.

However, you could get pictures (family if it is a family occasion, or winter scenes, or something in a theme) and blow them up to about the size of the pictures that are there and just attach them inside the frames, maybe using that blue plasticine-like stuff or double-sided tape. Depends on whether they have glass on them or not, I guess, and the sizes ! You could always mount the fake photos on some cardboard, foamcore or corplast, too, if you need to "tile" them
