Be careful, in the local paper, a house got demolished because the neighbours complained for years how unsightly the place was, and an eye sore! The owners didn't do anything to fix up the place, so along came the demolition crew and bye-bye house! :applaud:

Well yesterday was another great day and today is looking good!!!
OK I am so stupid as I got burnt shoulders yesterday....I know everyone warned me and I did use sunscreen but it must be too old. Thank goodness DS worked though. :cry:

You got that right !!! ( I never realized this bylaw out here until after moved in :( ) It is sooo stupid like you said they harp on us to cut back on wasting electricity and then we are not allowed to hang out our clothes :confused:

bigmama, you must be west of the city. The bylaws that you have out there are SO stupid. Let's see.... toss clothes in the dryer, which uses electricity, potentially overburdening the grid in summer months, and making them smell (fake) nice and (fake) fresh with perfumed fabric softner.... or hang them outside to dry naturally with a nice natural fresh scent......

is a beautiful day :) doesnt it just make you feel so good....yahoo i can just slip on my sandles and out the door i go...........so easy....yippeee! :laugh: i even hung a few clothes on the line

you oughtta see my deck, all kinds of beautiful plants. I went to Crappy Tire and got the most amazing columbines and primroses for my woodland garden, I think it's gonna be so pretty...the plants are hardened off now and today they are going in the ground :laugh:

I did a lot of gardening yesterday, and have the other half to do today, composting and mulching. It looks so pretty out there, even if the plants aren't growing yet :D
I'm off to get some t-shirts for the boys, and then to the park...not another piece of carrot cake :p ...and then back to do more gardening. With the rain coming this weekend, I want it all to be ready for my plant exursion next week, yahoo, can't wait!
Sounds like you are doing the same as me....if I could ever get off this computer....so addicting........anyways my youngest is bothering me to get going to the park.....I must remember sunscreen...I actually got burnt the other day................................

Not to sound preachy, but if you're going out to sit in the sun, don't forget your sunblock!! Or else dont stay out in the direct sun for too long. I've already gotten a burn on my face a couple of times this spring.
