I just spent Saturday fixing a few bad spots in walls. What an annoying job. I had about 5 different colors of paint to deal with;
Creamy Camel, Caramel, Grey Nut, Majestic (Green), and Creekside Green
I also resprayed some of my knobs black. For some reason, all colors patched well on the walls but the Majestic Green - I only have two green paints - the Creekside Green and the Majestic yet for some reason the Majestic green color did not match up - I even tried two cans because I had two opened cans of this green. I just don't get why it seemed lighter? Truly, it does not look good. I just don't know why? All the paints were kept under the same condition also, about the same age - some were even a year older than the green. I also find it odd that both cans were not the perfect match - you know in case the paint got contaminated somehow? :hairpull:
Have you had trouble with this?
I will leave this as is for now - but next time I will have to repaint the full wall. I have 2 year old twins and a dh(Ha) so I am sure I will get more knicks in the walls but on the green I just may let it slide.
