If you guys are like me, your pets are like your children. Here's a picture of my dog, Chase. He's a year and a half old and a total elf! Best little dog I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

a little cutie...one of my guy's walking buddies is a Whippet...they just adore him.
Here's my 2 just back from the groomer's.
He's actually a whippet. We got him from a breeder as a puppy. Looks like a mini greyhound. Runs incredibly fast, also - we take him to a huge off-leash park in our area and when he hits full speed people stop in their tracks to watch him. He is just a humble pet, though - not a racer.
my MIL used to have greyhounds...one was a rescued one cuz he got hurt...he got attacked by the other greyhounds and had 50 stiches on his face...they gave him to my outlaws as a joke and said he would never race again...so my MIL took him to the vet cuz the stitches were all infected got him treated and cleaned up...she took care of his stitches and he managed to win a few more races after that....they also had one that would get disqualified....cuz my FIL used to race him with a Hornet (car) that he had...but when the dog was racing with him if he got too far ahead he would turn his head and look back...well he would do that during the races and get himself disqualified....my MIL loved those dogs...oh ya and one time she shaved the poor thing cuz he looked like he was too hot....you guessed it...he got sunburned...and another trip to the vet...lol

Is the dog a greyhound rescue dog?
There are 2 near me that are walked all the time together. So gentle. Just don't let them of the lead LOL Gone like the wind after a blowing leaf or anything that is moving. ;)
