So what has everyone been up to this weekend? As for me, in between been run over by too many teens and company, DH and i managed to get the kitchen cabinets decluttered and cleaned this morning, we then arranged some of the art in the living room and eating area.....the pic above the loveseat is now above the dining table, and the mirror we bought many years ago is now above the loveseat and actually im not minding it there at all...seems to be okay, its not trendy by any means but im trying to reuse things i have here. The sofa table and matching mirror (was in dining area) has found its way to my sisters.....so things are looking a little bare in there, but that is okay, i will wait and get a feel for what i need to make the rooms complete. I will need to get a small floating shelf for DH's antique mantle clock that he inherited. It use to be on top of the armoire but of course that too is gone. I much prefer a smaller tv in the room but oh well....that is DH's toy....lol although as he gets more of a feel for the tv im not convinced he is 100% happy with it....i told him, dont let it go until its too late and the store does nothing about it...in my opinion i think at times it looks too blurry....much preferred the tube tv, then again it could be the tv is just too large for the room. This afternoon we hopped in the van and took a long much needed queit ride to get some cheese curds. So that is my rambling

Friday night - Splurge (in case you're not farmiliar with it, it iwhere a group of women each pay $20.00 per month and we draw a name each month until everyone has won, the winner has to host the following month and show off what she bought)
Saturday - slept in, worked out, packed alot (closing on our house is only 11 days away and I don't even feel close to being ready) had a nice supper with a friend and watched Sex and the City and had an excellent sleep
Today - went to church, came home and watched Waiting and The Weatherman, now I am having some computer time and then I am doing my nails and watching Desperate Housewives
Pretty quiet but nice weekend
I went to the Sewing and Crafts Show Friday and Saturday all day, learned a lot of new things, managed to get the fabric and floss for my next two Christmas stockings (do at least 2 every year for DD and DDIL, plus often one or two others), drooled a lot, then dropped into bed Saturday night to sleep about 12 of the next 14 hours battling something that I can't figure out. Today it's off to the RV show to help BIL and SIL pick a trailer so we can all go camping together. Needless to say, nothing got done around the house, but I have Monday off to catch up with that - time to get out in the garden and start spring clean-up.
and DH brought me a big armful of pussy willows, so I threw out some old ones from last year and made a nice arrangement. Some of them I put in water because we have a wet place partway down the lane and I would like to root them and have a little pussy willow grove down there.
Our neighbour gave us a big thick juicy steak from one of his beef cows, and DH barbecued it last night. We had asparagus with it -- not as good as the kind we get fresh here, but we were in the mood for it...
