The photos are amazing. I cannot believe the change. So neat....
actually DH has tons of that diamond plate..the real stuff...lol...they use them on their dump trucks...what i good idea though...hadn't even thought of that...actually the dyi car shows is where i got the idea...DH thought i was crazy at first...but he's really happy now...i'm also getting 2 steel truck rims welded together on top of each other and putting a piece of round plexi-glass on top...sort of end table thing...a retro diner table and maybe even an old bench seat from a car....i think i'm getting more excited about it than he is...LOL...there is so much you can do...it/ll be tough not to over do it...keeping in mind it is still a garage...maybe!!!
great contrast between the before and after pictures.
have you considered using some "diamond plate" somewhere in the decor scheme (maybe part of the door going into the house?). The real stuff is heavy and expensive in large quantities but there are "look alikes" (i.e. Formica 2046 in pic below) that would definitely work well with that high-end garage look (like on those American dyi car shows).
Jeep....i'd say 90% of went into the trash...that big box there is actually DH's toolbox,...but alot of it just went out...if still in there after living here for almost 2 years i came to the conclusion that i really didn't need it...and the rest of the stuff went into my furnance room..it's a huge room...i organized everything in there....
My question is what did you do with all the stuff when you were painting.
