Desserts From The Hummingbird Bakery

Decadent treats from Notting Hill’s celebrated Hummingbird Bakery (Gwyneth Paltrow’s a fan!) are now available to home bakers across the pond in the bakery’s recently published cookbook (2009 Ryland Peters & Small). Owner Tarek Malouf’s Vanilla Cupcakes are perfect for birthdays or bridal showers and the bakery’s moist Banana Bread is delicious with a coffee or tea.  Traditional Brownies are easy to make ahead for a family dinner or holiday entertaining — serve them with good ice cream for a satisfying dessert.
