Recipes With Cherries

Fresh summer cherries are only in season for June and July, so make the most of them. Use fresh Niagara cherries in Anne Yarymowich’s cherry tarts, a frozen cherry mousse (pictured above) or even black cherries in a refreshing iced tea. Or buy them dried for cookies and cornbread. Cherry glazes are often paired with duck, but try adding a zing to other barbecued meats, too.
