Pecan Balls Recipe

Delicious holiday cookies from Suzanne Dimma's best friend and caterer Melanie Dunkelman.

3/4 cup butter, cut in chunks
1/3 cup of brown sugar, packed
1-1/2 tsp of vanilla
1-1/2 cup flour
1 cup of pecans
Icing sugar


Step 1: In a food processor, mix butter and brown sugar with vanilla for 1 minute or until well creamed.

Step 2: Sprinkle flour and nuts on top and mix in processor until nuts and flour are incorporated.

Step 3: Form into 1″ balls.

Step 4: Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.

Step 5: When cool, sprinkle with icing sugar.
