My garage door opener is about 14 years old. Now, I faced a problem with it. The working condition of the motor is good, but the attached drive sprocket does not turn. I want to just replace the motor and re-attached the existing censors, chain, etc. In this situation. I am a little confused. Can I replace everything or else drive sprocket part only? If anyone had an experience, please share the information. Any kind of suggestions would be appreciated.

'Sitting Nook' has to go!

hi everyone,

hope someone may be able to offer a cheap and cheerful DIY idea to save our kitchen. we have a 'sitting nook' in the corner of our tiny kitchen that is just using up space and would be much better used as counter or storage space. the issue is that the bottom of the kitchen window begins immediately above the 'sitting nook'. we'd like to avoid re-installing a new window, as we'd like to keep this project as small and inexpensive as possible, until we can afford a full tear down in the room.
