How do you create a luxe traditional look in a dated condo penthouse? Toronto interior designer Philip Mitchell accomplished just that. Tour his updated 1970s apartment, where he added a grand barrel ceiling in the hallway, classic panel moulding, a faux fireplace and marble finishes to replicate old New York City buildings. House & Home designers Trish Johnston and Amanda Smith take us behind the scenes of a seasonal photo shoot where they create festive DIY indoor arrangements using urns, greenery, vine wreaths, pillar candles, moss and burlap. Finally, Toronto architect Christopher Tweel explains how he renovated a 1955 mid-century modern home into a spacious family retreat.
