Art Spiegelman’s CO-MIX: A Retrospective

This exhibit, a retrospective of cartoonist Art Spiegelman‘s career, feels particularly timely. Spiegelman, who’s best known for Maus, a Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel depicting his parents’ lives during the Holocaust, clearly believes in the power of telling stories — and taking artistic risks to do so. The exhibit features original manuscripts of Maus, as well as 300 other pieces that span the artist’s career, including original cover art for The New Yorker‘s iconic 9/11 issue.
