Back From The Grave!

White bed from ikea

This just in: the Ikea gods have heard my prayers and resurrected the dearly departed Hemnes four-poster bed! After my blog post griping about discontinuing that which I love, Ikea just got in touch and informed me about the new Edland bed. It’s so new, it’s not even up on the Ikea website yet. Call your local Ikea to check their stock. It’s just like the Hemnes, but now comes in a fresh white shade. They’ve done the painting for you!

And for all those penny-pinchers out there, the new Edland is $20 cheaper (only $370 for a queen) than the Hemnes was. Now that’s recession-busting at its finest! Ikea — I heart you.
