Christiane Lemieux’s 2015 Trend Forecast

DwellStudio founder, Wayfair executive creative director and all-around cool girl (ahem, and Ottawa native) Christiane Lemieux knows style, which is why we were very interested in hearing her predictions for 2015’s hottest trends. She held forth on what’s on its way out (“faux heritage”, grey, chevron) and what’s definitely in at an Apartment Therapy event in New York City last month. Among her predictions: a return to colour, especially pastels and neon, international takes on mid-century modernism, mixed metals, and the return of Memphis, a colourful 1980’s style led by Italian designer Ettore Sottsass. See Christiane’s complete talk in the video, above, and hear more from her in our Q&A and an interview with H&H editor in chief Suzanne Dimma at 2013’s Interior Design Show.
