Contemporary Carpets Made With Trad Techniques
The Ruckstuhl family knows floor coverings. They’ve been manufacturing rugs and carpets for five generations, and count companies like Apple, Louis Vuitton and Vitra among their clients. Now, one scion of the family is branching out. Samuel Ruckstuhl launched a new company, Cloak, last year, and it’s a perfect combination of old and new. Each of Cloak’s rugs is a modern beauty, but the collection is crafted in the Netherlands using traditional techniques and high-quality materials (think leather, wool, bamboo or silk).
