Paint Color Pick: Wild Horse By Behr

The paint color: Some browns can read as flat and oppressive, but Wild Horse is a lively shade that’s rich and deep as saddle leather.

Why we love it: This color complements both dark and light woods alike (notice how the stair treads pop while it makes the dark handrail look more distinguished).

How to use it: Try it in a den or masculine home office for a thoroughbred look: adventurous types can mimic the fresh teal door frame and risers to amp up this traditional hue.
