IKEA Launches In-Store Candy Shop

Shopping at IKEA just got sweeter. The furniture retailer is bringing a Scandinavian candy tradition to shoppers with a new in-store boutique called “Pick and Mix,” which will offer customers a wide variety of candies available in bulk.

“Lördagsgodis” or “Saturday candy” is a tradition that dates back several decades in which children were allowed to visit a local store every Saturday for a bag of candy. Luckily for us, IKEA will offer its Swedish treats every day of the week. Select locations in the U.S. launched this past June, and will open across Canada starting October.
