Tapas: Spanish Design for Food at Design Exchange

Like its design culture, Spain’s foodie heritage is innovative, diverse and adventurous — just think of the country’s culinary superstars, like Ferran Adrià, the molecular gastronomy pioneer and head chef of the sadly shuttered elBulli, or Martín Berasategui, who has earned six Michelin stars. This ongoing exhibit at the Design Exchange brings the two disciplines together, showcasing traditional food-related accessories, utensils and furnishings and their contemporary updates from design superstars like Patricia Urquiola, Hector Sérrano and Estudio Mariscal. Spanish Design for Food runs until August 10, 2014.
