Timeless Lighting Options

Lighting. I don’t know about you, but I find it very hard to commit to a lamp. Perhaps because there are so many out there and, like fashion accessories, they fall in and out of style very quickly. I also sort of believe, like the French, that if you buy a great piece it will last a lifetime — a hard statement to live by, however.
I was convinced that I wanted a simple, almost invisible, glass pendant lamp in the upstairs hallway, but I quickly got over that. Now it’s the spidery-type floor lamps that seem to be en vogue … how to choose?
I say, so what if the mouth-blown Gourd Table Lamp next to the sofa no longer works with the new Platner coffee table? Mix it up and love the look.
You can’t go wrong with the pieces below, I love the clean lines they all offer.
