The chefs behind Montreal restaurant Joe Beef have released a cookbook of their bestselling dishes, entitled The Art of Living According to Joe Beef (2011 Ten Speed Press). Filled with gorgeous photography, new takes on traditional Quebecois dishes, and a side of witty sarcasm, this book is as fun to flip through as it is to actually heat up the kitchen. Make their foie gras breakfast sandwiches (pictured above) for brunch this weekend, a lobster spaghetti as a comforting winter dinner, or their mini doughnuts with smoked cheddar for dessert.
