Cherry Cornbread Recipe

Recipe:

Step 1: Mix together the dry ingredients.

Step 2: Mix together the wet ingredients and gently mix into the dry ingredients.

Step 3: Fold in the cherries.

Step 4: Grease and line a 9″ x 9″ square baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 5: Pour in the batter and bake at 400°F for 25 minutes.

Ingredients

2 cups corn meal
1/2 cup pastry flour
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1-1/2 cups milk
2 large eggs
5 tbsp butter, melted
1-1/2 cups dried tart cherries
