Layered Cheese Terrine Recipe

Recipe:

Step 1: In a food processor bowl fitted with metal blade, combine Gouda, chopped parsley, milk and salt. Process until smooth.

Step 2: Line a 6-cup glass dish or aluminium loaf pan with foil. Spread mixture in dish or pan.

Step 3: Cream together cream cheese with roasted garlic, chopped green onions and black pepper. Spread mixture over Gouda layer.

Step 4: In clean bowl of food processor, combine cheddar, plain cream cheese, and chopped peppers and process until smooth.

Step 5: Spread mixture over second layer. Cover and chill for 1 hour or up to 4 days. Serve with crackers.

Ingredients

2 cups shredded Canadian Gouda
1/4 cup chopped parsley
4 tsp milk
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz. Canadian cream cheese with roasted garlic
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Black pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded Canadian white cheddar
4 oz. plain Canadian cream cheese, cubed
1 tbsp chopped pickled hot red peppers or half a sweet pepper, chopped
