Tomato Bocconcini Bites Recipe


A delicious appetizer or salad dish.

20 servings

20 cherry tomatoes
20 bocconcini cheese balls
1 bunch fresh basil
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Toothpicks or cocktail skewers


Step 1: Slice cherry tomatoes and bocconcini balls in half.

Step 2: Skewer a tomato half, a basil leaf and a cheese half on a toothpick or skewer. Pour 2 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp balsamic vinegar and a dash of salt and pepper into a shot glass for dipping. Rest toothpick on glass. Serve rest of tomatoes, cheese and basil on a platter for easy refills.
