After renting in the Hamptons for years, Beyoncé and Jay-Z finally decided to buy a home about a year ago. The Georgica Pond estate looks over 203 feet of water and has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

The summer home was originally built by Stanford White, and was later renovated and enlarged over a three-year period by Jeffrey Collé.

Before the power couple bought the home in 2017, the previous owners had it rotated 90º west to improve sunset views.

After owning her Hamptons home for five years, Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo listed the renovated property for $3.8 million back in January.

Ellen, who is known for her impeccable taste and track record for flipping properties, gutted the entire interior of the home and built it into the perfect modern farmhouse.

A standout amenity is the screened porch, which features a swing chair and fireplace, and has views of the heated pool out back.

What most don’t realize is that this windmill is actually a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home that was previously rented by Marilyn Monroe among many other notable names.

Divided between the homes’ three floors is 1,100-square-feet of living space. The unique property also offers full privacy and up-to-date amenities while still keeping its historic vibe.

Above the principle bedroom is the top of the windmill, which doubles as a walk-in closet.

The Food Network star put her Hamptons property on the market in spring for $4.5 million.

The 6.1-acre home features three ensuite bedrooms and two additional bathrooms.

With an open floor plan, and of course a gourmet kitchen, the home is ideal for entertaining guests and hosting summer parties.

Back in the summer of 2016, Stella McCartney purchased a cottage in Napeague for $1.5M.

The three-bedroom and two-bathroom property is the ideal beach house retreat.

With excellent ocean views and a sandy beach just steps from the home, what more could a celebrity need?
