Inside Connie Britton’s $5.6M Ultramodern Santa Monica Home
From White Lotus to Dirty John, actress Connie Britton has been in some blockbuster franchises as of late. She and her partner, David E. Windsor, the writer and producer behind This Is Us, recently won a fierce bidding war for their new Santa Monica home by bidding $600,000 over asking. According to Dirt.com, the 3,604-square-foot house has four bedrooms and three bedrooms in a leafy part of Santa Monica. Custom built in 2016, the contemporary house was designed by Dub Studios and sits on an 8,000-square-foot lot.

Invisible from the street behind a towering hedgerow, the house resembles a series of stone, stucco and wood blocks stacked together, broken up by large, generous windows.
The entryway is sleek and clean, complete with a custom front door hewn from exotic hardwood.
Wood-clad walls and stairs create a warm contrast in the foyer. A built-in bar is tucked near a banquette.
The open-concept main floor offers dedicated nooks for dining, lounging, sitting and cooking. Generous windows give a glimpse into an inner courtyard. Natural woods temper the coolness of the concrete floor.
The kitchen is a chef’s dream, flaunting high-end Liebherr and Wolf appliances, plus an eat-in island and retro breakfast banquette that maxes out a quiet corner.

The dining area has a mid-century feel. The house is grounded by a polished concrete floor and millwork with built-in storage solutions to keep a cap on clutter.
