Reese Witherspoon Sells Her Pastoral Malibu Ranch For $6.7M

America’s sweetheart Reese Witherspoon is on a real estate selling streak, putting her Malibu vacation home on the market just six months after her Pacific Palisades mansion! The Academy Award-winning actress recently unloaded this $6.7 million property, known as Zuma Farms, for nearly $500,000 more than what she originally paid for last summer. With a main house, barn-style guesthouse, horse stable and two acres of luscious landscape, this picturesque estate is sure to wow. Scroll through to take a tour!

Built in 1949, the ranch was later renovated and spruced up by the previous owners, who used the property as a wedding venue.

Since the home is on one level, it boasts an open-concept floor plan. Darks wood floors stay true to the barn aesthetic, while crisp white walls and detailed ceilings keep the bungalow feeling fresh.

A quaint dining table is situated near the main living area, encouraging socializing and maybe a glance or two at the television.

A galley kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances can be found just off the living-dining area.

A bench — topped with comfy cushions — near the back door is the perfect place for putting on shoes. An Andy Warhol painting adds a pop of color to the otherwise neutral space.

A vintage stove is one of the first things you notice when entering the main house. Though it may not work anymore, it gives off a rustic, storied vibe.

The home features three bedrooms, some of which have doors that lead directly to the lush backyard for seamless indoor-outdoor living.

The principal bathroom’s vanity is reminiscent of an apothecary counter. The freestanding tub by the window beckons you to take a dip and bask in the sunlight.

A small den offers sink-in leather seating and quirky artwork, but what intrigues us most is the large safe. We wonder what treasures could be found in there?

Dark wood ceilings with exposed beams create a cocooning feel in this theater room. A large leather couch is perfect for curling up to watch a classic flick, like Legally Blonde or Wild.

Behind the couch, you can find a small bar, ideal for serving snacks and drinks before and after the viewing.

A barn-style guesthouse with a full kitchen, living area, home office and lofted bedroom can also be found on the property.

Vaulted ceilings make this space feel even more grand.

A large island divides the space up nicely. Can you spot the ladder leading up to the lofted bedroom space?

The property also includes an art studio and screening room, each in their own hut-like structure.

There is plenty of outdoor seating and a fire pit for evening socializing.

A pergola covered in greenery shelters a dining table fit for alfresco dining.

The backyard also boasts a games area surrounded by large ancient sycamore trees that provide plenty of shade.

To top it off, the property features equestrian stables and even a full riding ring.
