Saoirse Ronan’s Charming Irish Home Is Off The Market!

Three-time Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan recently sold her quaint Arts & Crafts-style home in Greystones, Ireland, for a cool $2.1 million. Expanding over three floors, this six-bedroom, five-bathroom cottage was a stunning sanctuary for the busy up-and-coming actress who stars in Little Women. It boasts a lush backyard, covetable colored kitchen and dreamy walk-in closet.

The buttery yellow facade pays homage to traditional cottages in the area, but the 4,834-square-foot interior was modernized without losing its charming architectural quirks.

The spacious entryway is illuminated with natural sunlight. A patinated pedestal table holds a vase of dramatic dried flowers for a touch of rustic charm.

Aside from Saoirse’s acting chops, the star of the show is this intricate marble fireplace mantel. It adds a bit of history to the otherwise modern living room, complete with a velvet hunter green sofa.

Green is one of the biggest design trends for 2020, and the actress embraced the look in the sophisticated dining room with kelly green chairs.

Just like her style, Saoirse is not afraid to go bold. A coat of blue paint livens up the cabinetry in this entertaining-friendly kitchen. Warm leather bar stools are reminiscent of the cozy pubs Ireland is famous for.

Every famous actress needs some rest and relaxation. In this cozy family room, a freestanding gas fireplace and sink-in sectional makes you want to kick up your feet.

There’s no need for artwork in the principal bedroom when there’s four windows framing the Irish countryside in the distance. A playful patterned headboard evokes European charm.

No celebrity home would be complete without a grand walk-in closet. Crisp white dressers hold Saoirse’s array of red carpet-worthy garments, and a seashell-shaped velvet chair doubles as a pretty perch.

The same peach-pink hue in the closet is carried over to the principal bathroom, complete with wainscotting-like tile detailing, a curved navy bathtub and gilt hardware. The black paneled shower door adds an unexpected industrial touch.

Imagine curling up in the linen-covered seat with a good book during the summer months? The sunroom’s double doors lead to the lush backyard.

There is plenty of space for Saoirse’s dog, Fran, to run around. Plus, a quaint outdoor dining table (right) is an ideal spot to entertain famous friends during the warmer months.
