See Why Celebrities Love This Whimsical London Restaurant
The Gallery at Sketch, one of London’s trendiest restaurants, has us wanting to escape to its pretty pink space for afternoon tea. A celebrity hotspot, some of Hollywood’s biggest names – think Taylor Swift, Elton John and Kendall Jenner – have been spotted at the eclectic eating establishment.
Appropriately named The Gallery, the restaurant’s decor is switched every couple of years to exhibit a different artist’s work. The current interior was designed as a backdrop for David Shrigley’s artwork, a popular sketch artist in the U.K. Designer India Mahdavi created an immersive pastel canvas in one of Pantone’s 2016 colors of the year that playfully contrasts his witty drawings. The restaurant has an archetypal brasserie design with a very contemporary splash of pink on both walls and velvet-covered custom-made furniture.
