Shops We Love: Morgan Jane Home Is A Haven Of Treasures

Morgan Jane Miller lives and shops by five words: beauty, simplicity, order, grace and whimsy. These qualities are also at the core of her namesake boutique in the heart of downtown Wolfville, Nova Scotia. “Beauty can save the world,” she says. “I truly believe that.” Scroll down to learn more about the charming boutique and shop our favorite products!

Morgan Jane Home (456 Main St.) opened last year and has earned huge support from the local community during the global pandemic.

“The people here are so amazing,” says Morgan, who previously owned vintage and antiques businesses. “It’s the best move I’ve ever made.”

The 1,000-square-foot space feels like a breath of fresh seaside air — crisp white walls, open shelving and spacious tables are the perfect backdrop for her curated treasures.

You’ll find timeless tabletop pottery from Farmhouse Pottery, locally made woven baskets from Warm, Wooly and Woven, sustainable vinyl mats from Beija Flor and more. She even displays her own fine art photography in the store, which adds an extra personal touch.

Bedding and accent pillows from Morgan’s exclusive line of environmentally friendly European linen, which is manufactured in Lithuania and available in nine colorways such as Sage, Sea Foam and Blue Dawn.

These hand-carved bowls are made out of New England ash for a rustic-chic look. They’re beautiful enough to leave them out on display!

Made in Morocco, this woven tote is sturdy enough to hold bundles of fresh produce from the farmer’s market.

How charming is this vintage seltzer bottle? Display it in a grouping on a windowsill or table for a farmhouse-inspired vignette.
