Tour Ashley Olsen’s Dreamy New NYC Condo
It’s rare to get a glimpse into the private lives of the Olsen twins — after all, they posted their first-ever Instagram selfie just under a month ago. So when the Wall Street Journal caught wind that Ashley Olsen might have purchased a condo in Greenwich Village, the Internet took notice.
The two-bedroom condo, which the 29-year-old cofounder of luxury fashion brand The Row is reportedly in contract to purchase, was once home to an art gallery and clocks in at 3,000 square-feet. Dreamy 11-foot ceilings, herringbone wood floors and modern finishes make the space even more enviable than the stylish twin’s wardrobe. While the exact price hasn’t been confirmed, other apartments in the building are on the market for around $7.3 million. Step inside the space to see what the child star-turned-fashion designer will call home.
The building welcomes visitors with a beautiful embellished cast iron exterior.
Thanks to high ceilings and windows, the living room gets drenched with sunlight. A mirrored coffee table reflects the rays, offering even more natural light.
Though the room is small, black-painted glass doors offer an open feel in the dining area. A single pendant light shines a spotlight on the table, centering the space.
The kitchen takes influence from Scandinavian design, complete with a white subway tile backsplash, panelled blonde wood cabinets with matte black hardware and a white marble countertop.
Black columns dot the hallway, drawing attention to the high ceilings.
The same panelled wood cabinets are found in the powder room. A 3-D diamond wall detail with floating shelves replaces a mirror.
One of the benefits of Ashley’s new apartment is exposure to the north and south sides of the city. We’d fawn over that view!
