Movember Recipes From Top Chefs

Last November, 246,000 Canadians embraced the “Movember” moustache and raised $42 million for cancer. November is the month when men grow out their whiskers to support prostate cancer and men’s mental health initiatives. To raise awareness about the importance of prevention, Movember Canada (@Movember_CA) has teamed up with top Canadian chefs Massimo Capra (chef and co-owner of Mistura and Sopra Upper Lounge), David Lee (executive chef at Nota Bene) and Anthony Walsh (corporate executive chef of Toronto’s Oliver & Bonacini restaurants) to round up a few healthy cancer-fighting recipes. Omega-3 fatty acids found in tuna and salmon fight inflammation and can reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Fruits and vegetables are also abundant with nutrients like folate and vitamin B6 that may also protect against prostate cancer. Try one of these simple dishes at home this month!
