This classic Italian olive oil dip is great to serve with a mixture of raw and grilled vegetables, grilled bread, or you can drizzle it over steak.
Yield: Serves 4 to 6
- In small pot over low heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 8 minutes, or until soft and fragrant but hasn’t taken on any color.
- Add anchovies, mashing with spoon to break up. Add thyme and olive oil, and cook on low for 2 minutes, or until anchovies have mostly dissolved and mixture is very flavorful. Serve warm with steak, and grilled and raw vegetables.
