Balsamic Strawberries With Pink Peppercorns Recipe


A sweet and spicy party spread from Toronto food shop Ruby Eats.


4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2-1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp freshly cracked pink peppercorns
Freshly grated lemon zest to taste


Step 1: Combine the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, sugar and pepper into a bowl. Set aside at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve at a holiday party with crackers or French bread.
