Easy Cream Cheese Pastry Recipe

Step 1: Combine flour, sugar and salt in a food processor and buzz until combined.
Step 2: Add cream cheese and butter and pulse until mixture forms very large clumps.
Step 3: Remove and shape pastry mixture into 2 flat discs. Wrap in plastic and chill in fridge for 30 minutes.*
Step 4: Place a large sheet of parchment paper on counter and dust lightly with flour. For a 9″ pie plate, unwrap one disc of chilled pastry and place on parchment paper. Roll pastry into a 12″ circle. Roll the second disc of pastry into an 11″ circle for the lid.
*For a large free-form galette, shape the pastry into one large disc before chilling, then roll out to a 16” circle.
