A Tiny Kitchen Office

Designer Katherine Newman’s goal for the 1935 French Colonial Revival home was “a clean yet transitional look.” So when the homeowners requested a workspace, she added a greyed-lavender desk in the breakfast area to echo the cabinetry interior — with views to the home’s courtyard gardens, of course. A neat new approach for a space lacking a separate study, don’t you think?
