Allegra Hicks’ New Product Line

If you haven’t already heard, the London-based fashion and textile designer Allegra Hicks has teamed up with West Elm, and now has her own line of home furnishings with them. The products come in soft, beachy hues — perfect for summer.

I’m a fan of this tufted headboard because it’s not the usual beige or grey. The sea-like blue adds just a hint of colour to a room. From $449.

The pillow on the left features a unique, almost feather-like floral pattern. Next to it is the Sounds pillow cover — both are printed on hemp and available in Flax (shown) and Moonstone (a pretty blue). To the right is the Palm Leaf pillow cover, which adds subtle texture with embroidery. A handwoven jute rug ties it all together with a raindrop pattern printed atop. Pillow covers, $24-$29 each; rug, $39-$200.
