Minimalist Dining Room

Homeowner Katherine Yaphe’s mandate was to create a dining space that was contemporary, striking and spare, but not impractical. Large windows mimic the edgy look of steel, factory-style versions, but actually feature black-painted wooden mullions, which better retain heat.
