Angelina Jolie Spends $25M On Stunning French-Inspired Home

Rumor has it that Angelina Jolie has snagged a $24.95-million, Beaux Arts-style mansion in Los Feliz, California once owned by late director Cecil B. DeMille (the Hollywood producer behind 1934’s Cleopatra). Sitting on 2.1 acres in the gated community of Laughlin Park, this six-bedroom, 10-bathroom house is perfect for Angie and her kids. Did we mention it boasts panoramic views across the famous Griffith Observatory and Pacific Ocean?

Built in 1913, the 11,000-square-foot home mimics the look of a French villa.

In the gracious foyer, a wide hallway and curved stairway make a grand first impression.

Neutral walls with arched glass doors leading to the landscaped gardens envelop the formal living room, while a traditional fireplace with marble detailing acts as the focal point.

The stylish and spacious kitchen boasts top-of-the-line appliances, a large island and marble counters.

There’s even a light-filled eat-in area, which is perfect for Angelina and her six children to enjoy family meals.

A sunken sitting area just off the home office features a chalkboard and plenty of natural light.

The formal dining room has a cozier feel thanks to the warm wood walls.

Even the bedrooms are styled lavishly. This one has direct access to a private patio area overlooking the Los Angeles skyline.

In one of the 10 bathrooms, a large vanity with a small mirror makes way for a beautiful view of the outdoors.

A shapely archway above the tub and crown molding bring architectural interest to the beige bathroom.

Outside, there are multiple sitting areas spread throughout the property.

There are also multiple pathways taking you from one end to the other.

There’s even a studio house surrounded by mature trees with its own private entrance.

Inside, an indoor-outdoor living area is perfect for entertaining guests.

Further down in the gardens, an impressive pool with fountains acts as a focal point in the courtyard.

A pool house is an obvious must.

The mansion comes with its own fully-equipped gym that leads out onto the private gardens and swimming pool.
