With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding fast approaching, many are speculating about who will walk Meghan down the aisle and what kind of bridal gown she might wear, but floral enthusiasts can’t wait to see what the royal bouquets are going to look like, too. To ease our anticipation we asked beloved floral and event design boutique Sweet Woodruff for their best guesses.
With chic clientele like Holt Renfrew and Club Monaco — not to mention the most discerning brides — Sweet Woodruff owner Lisa Gray (pictured above ) and her studio manager Leah McWatters are accustomed to producing elegant floral arrangements worthy of a royal wedding.
“I can see Megan choosing something like either of these lush garden-inspired arrangements to adorn the wedding ceremony and breakfast,” says Lisa. “They’re classic English garden-style with lots of natural foliage that you would find in the royal gardens and parks — perfect for a royal wedding.” Click through to see the bouquets!

“Since Meghan is young and stylish I can imagine that she’ll want her flowers to feel loose and not too fussy,” says Lisa. “Something romantic and feminine while still feeling a bit free and whimsical.”

This Sweet Woodruff bouquet, photographed by Lauren Kurc , offers up a slightly more traditional English take on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s potential royal wedding flowers.
“My prediction is that Meghan, who has such an effortless clean and classic style, will want a bouquet that complements that aesthetic,” says Leah. “I think we’ll see flowers like peonies, foxglove, geranium, phlox and delicate sweet peas.”

If there’s one thing for certain it’s that Meghan Markle will likely look to her gal pal turned rumoured royal wedding planner Jessica Mulroney and soon-to-be sister-in-law Kate Middleton for floral advice. This shot, also photographed by Lauren Kurc , shows a close-up look at the floral varieties we’ll likely be seeing this Saturday at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding.
“Color-wise, I can imagine that Meghan will choose something classic like cream, ivory and blush,” says Leah. “Although, I think she could pull off yellows so incredibly well, so I am rooting to see yellows on her big day!”
Varieties featured in this bouquet include:
