Cut A Rug
London artist and designer Sonya Winner (pictured ), has expanded her Lichen rug collection with Malachite, a new colorway of deep greens, vibrant jade and a touch of blue. Lichen rugs , created in collaboration with Alice Hislop, are hand-tufted by artisanal weavers in biodegradable New Zealand wool. Durable and washable, the rug is beautiful underfoot or displayed as a wall hanging.

Spinning A Good Yarn
Kravet has partnered with environmental community Seaqual Initiative and InsideOut Performance Fabrics to create 56 durable indoor-outdoor fabrics made with plastic litter that’s been collected from beaches. The plastics are turned into pellets that are then melted into threads for Seaqual yarn, a mix of upcycled marine plastic and post-consumer PET from land sources.
