DaNico, Toronto

Located in a landmark bank building, DaNico was awarded a star for its Italian cuisine with Asian influences. At the helm is chef and partner Daniele Corona whose menu features local and sustainable ingredients from across Canada. The restaurant’s Ashleigh Forster also received the special Michelin Somelier Award.

Not only was this contemporary restaurant located in Oakville, Ont.’s charming downtown core recognized with one star, but its head chef Rafael Covarrubias received the special Michelin Young Chef/Culinary Professional Award. Book a reservation and enjoy a multi-course blind tasting menu or enjoy seasonal à la carte service.
Restaurant Pearl Morissette, Jordan Station, Ont.

Nestled on 42-acres in the Niagara Region, Restaurant Pearl Morissette is comprised of a restaurant, winery, farm, orchard and bakery. Chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson create a rotating menu inspired by seasonal French cooking. The restaurant uses a holistic approach, working with regional purveyors to provide quality ingredients found in the area.
In addition to a one-star rating, Michelin awarded the eatery a Green Star which recognizes restaurants for their significant sustainable practices.

What used to be an old gas station is now home to The Pine, a Chinese and contemporary restaurant with charming interiors and one Michelin star. Chef Jeremy Austin finds inspiration from his years working in China, curating ingredients from the family farm and sourcing meat and fish within Canada to create beautiful dishes.
