Model Miranda Kerr’s Malibu House Is A Breath Of Fresh Air
After 10 years, model and beauty entrepreneur Miranda Kerr is selling her oceanside Malibu estate for $4.5M, according to Robb Report. The four-structure estate overlooks the Pacific Ocean, with six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and a powder room. In 2014, Miranda paid $2.2 million for the 0.73-acre property — now a hillside compound at the end of a cul-de-sac above the Pacific Coast Highway (it was previously owned by actor James Whitmore, of Shawshank Redemption fame).

The single storey, 2,200-square-foot main house is open plan and all white. The living room has a rustic, coastal vibe with wide-plank wood floors, a stone fireplace surrounded by built-in bookshelves and vaulted beamed ceilings.
The principal bedroom has Palladian-style windows offering access to an ocean-view deck. “I loved the bones, the high ceilings, and the light that comes through the big windows,” Miranda told People. “I loved climbing trees as a kid, and being amongst the trees, and that’s how I feel in this house.”
At least one of the main house’s guest bedrooms has been converted into a family-style media room with a built-in tiled communal bench and comfy cobalt cushions.
A vast deck wraps around the dining room at the end of the house, and runs the full length of the house.
The covered al fresco dining area overlooks the pool and Pacific ocean views.
Miranda renovated and expanded the outdoor deck, which is shaded by tall trees, vines and towering bamboo shoots.
A brick terrace wraps around the 40-foot long pool and spa. The three other structures on the property are comprised of a 684-square-foot pool house equipped with a gym and changing facilities, plus two hillside guesthouses.
The lush property has a waterfall and serene pond.
