Rod Stewart’s $80M Mansion Looks Like A European Palace

Rod Stewart re-listed his lavish LA mansion for US $80 million just months after putting it on the market for $70M. The 9-bedroom, 12-bath California estate encompasses a 28,000-square-foot main residence as well as a guest house — but what really sets it apart is its formal European style. The home is located at the end of a winding private drive, where visitors are greeted by a circular fountain in front of the main house, which sits on three acres.

According to Mansion Global, the singer first bought the property in 1991 for $12.08 million in the gated North Beverly Park enclave. Los Angeles architect Richard Landry designed the home to mimic a grand European château, with patterned marble floors, an elaborate wood-panelled library, crystal chandeliers and intricate moldings throughout.
