Oprah Winfrey has one of the most impressive real estate portfolios (have you seen her Colorado mansion ?) and has just added another to her list – an $8.275 million estate on Washington State’s Orcas Island. The ultra-private compound includes a 7,303 square foot main house, a guesthouse, a teahouse and a barn-like structure with a woodworking studio and gym.

Double gates open onto a long path leading up to the main house, which features 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
The stone-accented residence features a copper and slate roof and tons of greenery.
Inside, a rustic cabin-like space awaits with reclaimed woods, hand-forged iron work and wood floorboards reclaimed from the former Sears’ building in Chicago.
The layout is open-concept and is made up of a living room, dining room and a colossal kitchen with skylights, a huge island and built-in pizza oven.
The library nook is lined in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves making it the perfect spot to spend a cozy afternoon reading.
Here’s one of the four bedrooms with stunning views of the ocean.
On the upper floor, under a vaulted, exposed wood ceiling, a family/games room is perfect for entertaining guests.
A casual outdoor patio is the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and take in the surrounding landscape.
Oprah’s new property also features a 2,948 square foot guesthouse with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is set on a high cliff above a private beach.
There’s also a teahouse set beneath a canopy of trees, overlooking the water.
It can easily be transformed into a yoga studio or a meditation space.
Who needs a pool when you have a private beach?
