Take A Look Inside Cher’s Former Miami Villa

The former home of pop icon Cher has hit the market following a major facelift. Cher famously lived in this Miami mansion when she was taking a break from the spotlight and according to the Robb Report, the 12,450-square-foot home is on sale for a staggering $42.2 million. The singer bought the home for $1.5 million and used the waterfront property as a retreat from fame. Three years later, she sold the property to Calvin Klein co-founder Barry K. Schwartz for $4.35 million. Now the six-bedroom, six-bathroom villa is back on the market after a Cher-worthy reinvention: let’s take a look.

Built in the 1950s, the Spanish-style residence is packed with architectural details like a tiled roof, arched windows, and wrought iron accents.

The foyer is framed by a set of curved stairways, a double-height ceiling and Brazilian oak flooring.

The home has contemporary interiors and offers plenty of space for entertaining, with open-plan living areas.

In this common area, the oversize arched windows flood the space with Miami sun.

The kitchen features marble stone, an oversized kitchen island and sleek cabinets.

A private bar area with seating has fluted cabinetry and is embellished with a cool geometric wall pattern.

There’s a 50-foot-long resort pool, hot tub, cold plunge, sun deck, sauna and pool house with views of Biscayne Bay.

The home has 158 feet of frontage for enjoying ocean breezes, with a private jetty for boat access.
