Apple Bundt Cake Recipe

Recipe:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F.

Step 2: Place 10″ flexible silicone Bundt pan on baking sheet (or grease and flour regular Bundt pan). Mix dry ingredients in large bowl, making sure no lumps of brown sugar remain. Set aside.

Step 3: Mix wet ingredients, except diced apple, in smaller bowl. Pour all wet ingredients into dry ones at once. Mix until just blended. Stir in flour-dusted apple pieces.

Step 4: Scrape mixture into Bundt pan.

Step 5: Bake 70 minutes, on middle rack, or until skewer inserted into thickest part of cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan before unmoulding and slicing.

Makes 1 cake

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 large eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp molasses
1 tsp vanilla
2 peeled, cored and diced apples (Crispins or Empires), lightly dusted with flour
