Inside A Blogger’s Stylish & Budget-Friendly Suburban Home
Homeowner and blogger Andrea Haraldsen of Harlow & Thistle shows us her quaint home design, which truly defines “luxe for less.” See how she brought her home’s original 1960s footprint into the present with contemporary flooring, a neutral palette and mid-century modern furniture. Andrea completed a number of DIY projects throughout the house. She added stucco to the fireplace surround, created a feature wall in the dining room and even made a kitchen vent hood out of an Ikea cabinet. The renovated kitchen’s dove grey Laura Ashley tile backsplash brings in tons of personality, as do the handmade details throughout. Andrea proves you can create a beautiful home on a budget with a bit of creativity and craftiness.
